Indian Signs reflects the Indian rock paintings I saw while in the Sedona, AZ, area. I continued with the symbols on the plant. I plan to do a series of paintings reflective of the rock art.

Marilyn Barton

Marilyn Barton has recently moved from Arizona to Sun City Shadow Hills, Indio, California. She paints with Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Pencil and Charcoal. Marilyn was art major at UCLA where she concentrated on the many aspects of fine art including, life drawing, illustration, photography, painting, printmaking and art history. In recent years, she studied watercolor from a well-known teacher and artist/publisher in the Palm Springs area. Marilyn has specialized in capturing the beauty of the desert with her unique style and colorations in watercolor, acrylic and pastel. Marilyn also teaches art classes in watercolor and pastel.
